Any Which Way VALENTINES TRUFFLES
This is a variation from my recipe in the book – Valentines Salt & Vinegar Truffles
Recipe ~ Turkish Delight Flavour:
1/3 cup solidified coconut oil
1/2 cup raw honey, preferably light such as yellow box, macadamia or similar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
3 tablespoons hulled tahini
pinch sea salt
3/4 cup raw cacao powder
1 – 1 1/2 tablespoons pomegranate molasses
1 tablespoon rosewater
Extra cacao powder, for sprinkling
MIX everything together until perfectly smooth! How easy is is that? Drop teaspoonfuls into small heart shaped silicon moulds and FREEZE. Makes around 40 bite-sized Truffles. When hard, sprinkle with pinches of cacao powder and serve with cups of White Rose flavoured or Cacao Tea and fresh pomegranates or berries. These are SO melt-in-your-mouth!!
Flavour Variations:
You may easily vary the flavour of this recipe to create Chocolate Mint, Orange, Spiced, or Fruity. Simply add in essential oils, spices or tiny pieces of freeze dried fruits as you desire. Can I ise something else instead of pomegranate molasses? I live in Norway, and its hard to find that
Hi Yasmira, Yes! Just leave it out. Not exactly the same, but still delicious. 🙂
Hi Abigail,
I was just wondering.. do your chocolates have to be stored in the freezer or can they be left out on the bench? I’d like to make some up and give them as a gift.
If so either way, how long do they keep?
Much love xx
Raw chocolate is best stored in the fridge or freezer Yiana, as it melts a lot quicker than regular chocolate. Not full of refined sugar or fats! 🙂
