Was out shopping for Lima beans and stuff when a lovely gentleman asked me how I prepare them.. So thanks to him I’m posting this recipe.. Try them, you’ll be amazed how comforting they can be.. garlicsoaked limascreamy garlic limas
TO MAKE:
1. Soak overnight
2. Rinse, add fresh boiling water to cover, chopped fresh garlic & sea salt
3. Bring beans to the boil, turn right down to low, cook until beans are tender and broth goes creamy

These beans are so good.. The creamy texture & subtle garlic flavour is enough. Serve sprinkled with cayenne, a light sprinkling of herbs of your choice (optional), olive oil or butter. Perfect as a light meal with a fresh roast pumpkin & feta green salad.
