Something so simple. You know the benefits. Something I believe we often take for granted & even under-estimate the power of, in our high tech civilizations across the world.
It’s #3 on the list of ‘MY 8 TIPS FOR SUPERGORGEOUSNESS’ because:
WATER hydrates, cleanses, heals, restores, rejuvenates, & is anti-aging, claming, refreshing, revitalizing! WATER is life.
You can drink it, bathe in it, swim in it. Water is powerful, I use it everyday in some form of hydrotherapy (water treatments involving hot & cold, tepid waters applied to the body for various lengths of time). I believe in it’s ability to HEAL. I’ve personally felt it’s incredible power to relieve pain, to detoxify, to refresh! That’s me. You don’t have to agree, only I’d encourage you to take a look at some good books/reading material on hydrotherapy applications for various ailments & perhaps try it for yourself! FEEL the benefits.
It’s been my practice for years to drink lemon water when I first wake up. It makes me feel awake & refreshed for the new day! I also hydrate throughout the day with 1 litre of chlorophyl water (add 1 teaspoon), which I also occasionally add 1/2 drop of essential oil of peppermint, it makes a lovely refreshing drink. Iced tea of rosehip & ginger is another favourite. I drink 2 litres at least per day, more if I’ve been surfing or exercising vigorously!
I would usually be a coffee person, my ancestors on mum’s side are Portugese, & I LOVE the taste of it! If I do indulge in a cup of fairtrade organic coffee (very rarely) I drink an extra litre to make up for the dehydration it causes. I’ve cultivated a love for green tea, white tea, dandelion & all herbal teas which help to hydrate the body & are lovely hot or cold. Fresh mint is delicious added to your water, slices of lime, lemon, even crushed pomegranate! Delicious.
WATER = LIFE. LOVE IT. USE IT. ENJOY IT IN AS MANY WAYS AS YOU CAN TODAY! BE THANKFUL. SO MANY PEOPLE ON THIS PLANET WISH THEY HAD AS MUCH OF IT AS YOU DO! ♥
