8 Tips for Supergorgeousness #6 AIR

AIR! The very essence of LIFE. The ‘prana’ or LIFEFORCE is my 6th ‘SuperTip’ for SUPERGORGEOUSNESS! The best thing is, it’s FREE!! “& God breathed into man the BREATH OF LIFE.” ~ quote, Genesis. I love that thought. So it seems that every breath we take, every minute of every day, is almost a mini re-creation of that ‘breath of LIFE’, ‘prana’ or ‘LIFEFORCE‘.

Shallow breathing contributes to fear, stress, wrinkles, tension, anxiety, hopelessness, lack of energy, illness, lethargy. Deep full breaths on the other hand, contribute to a sense of control, power, wellness, youthfullness, exhilaration, faith, hope, clarity of mind, joy, peace, energy, & a relaxed state of being.

At any time throughout the day, you can stop, take a few breaths, re-focus. Refresh your soul with clean fresh air! AIR is free, its all around us & available at all times.

If you live in the city, try to get out to the park, wildlife parks, nature sanctuaries often. Another good airy place to be is by the sea! When you’re sick you really need lots of fresh air to heal. Our lungs are one of the five major eliminatory organs (lungs, skin, liver, kidneys, bowel) so it’s important to sleep in a well ventilated room & take a few deep breaths throughout the day to speed recovery.

Exercise is the best way to promote deep full breathing! Try a brisk walk  or a gentle yoga class & feel how much deeper your breath becomes as a result.

AIR IS THE VERY FOUNDATION OF OUR EXISTENCE. WITHOUT IT WE DIE IN A MATTER OF MINUTES. IMAGINE WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF WE SIMPLY DOUBLED OUR AIR INTAKE – WE MIGHT JUST ASTOUND OURSELVES!
